Gunnison elevation is about 7700 feet. The AVERAGE high temperature for this time of year is 80°F, average low is 43°F.
Make your KOA reservations now! Mention the "Yamaha FJ" group and receive 10% off. There are 3 Kabins together with tent sites on both sides (our designated area). There is also another area with 2 Kabins together. That is the extent of Kabins at this KOA - so I suggest getting in your reservation ASAP if you want one! UPDATE: All 5 Kabins have been reserved by FJ riders! Of course, you are free to stay wherever you choose. Official Gunnison Website
We plan on arriving at the KOA Wednesday evening July 20th. The plan is to do Ride 1 on Thursday (July 21st), Ride 2 on Friday, Ride 3 on Saturday and probably leave for home on Sunday morning. Of course you are free to arrive earlier/later and depart earlier/later as you wish. I look forward to seeing everyone there!
