This ride is pretty short at 110 miles.  It will probably be the last ride for most before they have to depart on their journey home, and it is short for that reason.  We have to get up to Crested Butte at some point!  I really wanted to do so much more with this ride, but what you see is literally all of the pavement that exists!  There is a small stretch (several miles) of dirt road at point "5" that keeps this from becoming a nice loop over to Buena Vista, down south over Monarch Pass (elevation 11,312 feet) and back to Gunnison.  Depending on the condition of the dirt road, some riders may wish to brave that stretch if they feel so inclined.  If not, we turn around at "5" and head back to our roaring bonfire at the KOA and live it up!  :)  All times listed are automatically generated by the mapping program and are probably not accurate.  Pay no attention to them.  I am simply leaving them in as a point of reference.
